Status of Aadhar card

Status of Aadhar card

Getting your AADHAR card after enrolling at an AADHAR card facility might take up to three months (90 days). Before, there was no way to verify the status of AADHAR card based on a person’s name. We’ve been keeping a careful eye on developments in this region. Finally, we have a mechanism in place that allows us to check the status of an AADHAR card by name and, if it is ready, download it online.

Get a Aadhar Card

It is possible to get an AADHAR card even if you have misplaced your Enrollment ID or don’t remember your AADHAR number by following the procedures outlined below:

  • Aadhaar No (UID) OR Enrolment No (EID) should be selected in the “You wish to receive your lost:” field.
  • Please provide your complete name here.
  • Input your e-mail address here.
  • Enter your mobile phone number here.
  • Click the “Get OTP” button and enter the security code shown.
  • You will get a One Time Password (OTP) by text message or email.
  • Using the OTP code you got on your mobile phone or e-mail, type it into the field below. Select “Verify OTP” from the drop-down menu that appears.
  • Your AADHAR card number or Enrollment Id will be sent to the phone number you provided in Step 2 above.
  • “Enrollment Id” or “Aadhaar” should be selected under “I have:”
  • AADHAR card number, Enrollment ID, your complete name, Pin Code and security text should be entered. Please also provide your cell phone number.
  • Select “Get OTP” from the drop-down menu.
  • You will get a One Time Password (OTP) by text message or email.
  • Click “Validate and Download” after entering the OTP you got on your phone in the “Enter OTP” box.
  • Your e-Aadhar card is now ready for use. When you open the PDF file, you’ll be prompted for a password.
  • You may now print off your e-AADHAR card.

Please keep in mind that there was previously no mechanism in place that allowed citizens to verify the status of their AADHAR cards by name. We have been constantly following the progress in this area, and we have now updated this website as soon as a mechanism was put in place that allows residents to verify the status of their AADHAR cards by entering their names.

Check Your Aadhar Card Status

Those who wished to be notified when a system was made available that would allow them to check the status of their AADHAR cards based on their name and/or other demographic information were asked to leave their contact information (only a valid email address in the email box, please, no phone number) as well as an appropriate message in the “Comments” section.
